Phonelocator released!
After more than a year of part time development and two months of full time development, phonelocator has been released. It has been successfully installed and used by people who have downloaded it from Nokia’s mobilze and share (MOSH) service.
The last 5 weeks have been spent developing a user registration system. The final hurdle was to get the client application symbian signed.
You can download phonelocator here. It works on Series 60 version 3 phones with GPS. If your phone does not have GPS built in, you can use and external bluetooth GPS device. Phones with built in GPS work best, like the Nokia N95, N95 8GB, N78, N82, E90, 6110 Navigator, 6210 Navigator, Nokia 6220 Classic and Samsung SGH-i560.
